I have an extensive library of art instruction and reference books. The ones listed below are just a few of my very favorite titles and authors. I have learned many valuable lessons from these masters of art. If you are interested in becoming a better artist, whether it's for your own enjoyment, or as a professional, I recommend that you read these books. You can check them out of the library, but it is a lot better if you have them in your home and studio to gain insight and encouragement when you need it at any time of the day or night. There have been many times when I was in the middle of a painting and took a break to seek inspiration from some of my favorite artists. These books are my favorite sources.
