Do you take credit cards?

When I see the photos that you want to use and we decide on the size and media, I will tell you how much the painting will cost.

What is the starting price for a portrait?

Commission Fees for Full Oil on Canvas or Pastel Portrait approximately 12" x 16" start at about $400

16"x20" Portrait Commission Fee is about $650. Additional subjects, combining photos, etc add to the commission fee.

ANY SIZE PORTRAIT IS AVAILABLE ON REQUEST

ANIMALS

Animal Portrait commission fee for a pastel or an oil portrait approx. 11"x14" is about $300

16"x20" Portrait Commission Fee is about $500.

Commission fees are higher for special portraits, such as animals in uniform or period clothing, or pub signs or portraits with wording.

Do you have various price options?

Please don't be embarrassed to tell me that you don't want to spend as much as the price that I quote to you. I know that portraits can be an expensive investment. I can come up with other options and sizes to consider. Together, we will come up with a portrait that you will be proud to own. Grapite or pastel sketches are an affordable way to invest in your own fine art.

When do I pay you?

After we have decided on a size and I have drawn a layout, I will send it to you for your approval. When you are happy with the planned portrait, you send me a 50% fully refundable deposit.

The balance is due when the portrait is ready to ship. After receiving the portrait, you have 3 days to contact me for any changes or if you are unsatisfied with your portrait. If you do not contact me during this time, the deposit is no longer refundable. Your final payment will be refunded if the painting is returned.

How do I pay you?

I accept checks or money orders. I also use PayPal if you would like to use a credit card to commission your portrait.

How do I pay for shipping?

Shipping & insurance usually runs between $15 and $25. If the painting is larger or smaller than usual, I will find out the shipping charges and let you know.
